Work conditions for interpreters
Taking into account the fact that the interpreting service is much more tiresome than the translation service (the interpreter must be spontaneous, able to deal with unpredictable situations, fluent in speech), the working day for an interpreter is considered to be of 6 hours.
Provided that the duration of the interpreting service required exceeds 6 hours per day, two interpreters will be necessary. Time is counted starting with the moment the interpreter is at the client’s disposal.
For the traveling outside Bucharest, transport, lodging and meals for the interpreter (interpreters) must be ensured.
In order for us to ensure excellent interpreting services, the client is required, if possible, to ask for these services 3 – 4 working days in advance.
